A Day at Nude Spa

Last Saturday, I went to Wensha Spa with my work mates. It was an overdue team building as most of the teams in our department had theirs. After much deliberation as to which spa to go to, we ended up at Wensha as it’s operation is 24 by 7.
There are several packages to choose from at the reception area and we got this promo for Body Massage and Foot Massage, an hour each, at P1,088.00. Prior to entering the women’s locker room, we were given the red magnetic bracelet for our individual lockers and were asked to deposit our shoes. Inside the room, we were handed pair of robe and two pieces of bath towels. We then processed to shower. After which, we dipped ourselves into the hot jacuzzi pool. We stayed there for about 15 minutes, which is by the way the allowed time. At first, we were too shy to unveil our naked bodies but eventually got into the pool. It was scary, since I am not used to exposing myself like that, thinking other people at the spa would see me naked. But heck, when in Wensha, expect to be bold. After the jacuzzi, we headed to the steam sauna which is located right beside the dry sauna room and stayed for about 15 minutes. Headed for a quick warm shower again before putting back our robes.
After all the sweat and we are starving hungry since the last meal we had was 2 slices of pizza from the training, we went to the common area where food is served. All the packages at the spa includes free buffet. I was actually expecting lotsa food choices but was dismayed upon seeing soup, fried rice, pork meal and croissant. Since we don’t have a choice, we helped ourselves to stuff our tummies. This is where the agony started, the soup was cold, then they ran out of rice. The attendants in that common area were not so friendly. When I say common area, I mean girls and boys can be seen together. I was extremely disappointed as I was hoping for more. Good thing I eat almost anything plus I had no choice so I grabbed some of the food and stuffed it into my growling tummy. But just like any buffet, Wensha strictly enforced the no leftovers rule. Of course, the rule of thumb when into buffet, get only small portions, anyway you can always go back to have some more, otherwise you’ll pay extra. And in this case it’s Php300.00 for food and Php60.00 for drinks.
Body Massage
All the rooms were taken so we offered another common area for massage, but this time only for girls. This common area looked like a big hallway with dividers, two little beds per division. We were asked to lie on our tummies while the masseurs prepared. There were two choices of oil, mineral and ginger, I chose the latter. I had my massage pressure at moderate level since I am near to skinny in built. I loved the stretching parts, back massage which helped to release all the stress I have. As a working woman, this is what I need at the end of the week. I always go to spas whenever I have time to soothe my aching body and it never fail to give me the refreshing feeling.
Foot Massage
This is the best foot massage ever! As a fan of vanity, I always pamper myself as much as possible. I’ve been to several spas but this experience at Wensha is really worth all the penny spent. It was like getting a body massage over again. I allowed myself to give in to the pleasure. Not the naughty pleasure but the heavenly feeling of my body going through relaxation. There was a point wherein I almost fell asleep but when every time I hear my tension nodes cracking, I manage to stay awake. The massage room was so conducive, it was all Lazy Boys with television. But I tell you, once the masseur starts, you’ll forget what you’re watching and concentrate on the bliss.
We capped the day with another round of buffet after the hot shower. Thinking that there will be new menu and Shabu Shabu, we trooped to the common area again. But to our dismay, the table was filled with the same food we had. I was actually hoping there’s coffee or tea but I did not see a single pot. Anyway, the experience overall was not that bad. It was the foot massage that will make me come back at Wensha again. It’s just the food that disappointed my expectations.
