NAIA Centennial Terminal 3
While waiting for my brother’s flight, we strolled inside the NAIA Centennial Terminal 3. I’ve been to NAIA 1 and 2 but not at NAIA 3 and this is my first time. Since I always carry my camera with me wherever I go, my time at the airport was that productive. The view from outside the departure area was great too, overlooking was the Marriott Hotel, McDonalds, Newport City Condominiums, Resortworld Casino and the Shrine of St. Therese of the Child.

Since my brother purchased his ticket online, he presented his confirmation at one of the counters for his boarding pass. His flight was at 1 PM and we had enough time to check out the shops and grabbed something to nibble. The restaurants and shops are on the second level. There was Yellow Cab, Jollibee, Mister Donut and KopiRoti. I forgot the shops’ name as when I checked the products, I was quite disappointed. Plus, there are not much that you can see inside as most stalls are still vacant.
After stuffing our tummies with goodies and some chit chat, we went back at the ground floor. There we found Ninoy Aquino’s statue near the entrance to the counter for terminal fees. I was really happy since I’ve been eager to see something about Ninoy at the airport that named after him. I didn’t waste time and took this opportunity for photos and am happy to share these:

I said farewell to my brother as he proceeded to wait for his flight. I did one more round at the airport and compared the controversial NAIA Centennial Terminal 3 with other international airports I’ve been to. Of course, I like the other international airports very much and they were really that appealing. But maybe because the NAIA 3 is just new as opposed with the existing ones. Maybe if I come back after a year, there would be improvements. But I must say, seeing Ninoy Aquino’s statue inside the NAIA 3 is something for me.
